* bookend magic *

I love books. I absolutely LOVE books. 

I love how they smell, I love how they feel ...(weirdo) I love that magical world that they create when you read them. 

With all that said I have lots of books, I mean a LOT. 

Having lots of books on your bookshelf can be a little bit boring so I wanted an easy way to dress it up. 

I was looking on Pintreset ( where else?! ) and these were my favorite  ideas :

After all the researching I decided to be CREATIVE and make my own bookends. 

You need to know two things about me: 

 1.  I am obsessed with maps, airplanes... basically everything with traveling.

 2. I love collecting things ... " Don't throw away that "amazing" tissue box/toilet paper roll/ container, we can use it for something..." 

So here is what I came up with :

I had a long distance relationship with my husband for almost 3 years. I live with him now, in the United States, so now I am doing long distance with my parents. It is not easy, but it has made me love everything related to traveling. I love maps. I love globes. I love them because they remind me of my family, all the things we have been through, and all the adventures that are ahead of us. I love looking at them and thinking about my past and our future. 

That's the reason I started collecting globes, atlases, maps, and I am having some success finding them in thrift stores. They are super cheap, and you can use them in so many different ways to decorate your home.

Today I am going to show you how to make a nice picture out of cute little map planes.
