* hello Hungary! (pt.3) *

Good morning Friends!

Here is a few more pictures of our adventures at lake Balaton.
It is a wonderful place with mountains, lots of boats, ships, magical grape fields,
lovely coffee shops, restaurants and amazing historical sights.

I took these pictures in Tihany.

Make sure you visit this amazing restaurant and try the delicious authentic Hungarian
dishes! Oh and don't let me forget about the beautiful view!

P.S.: We are leaving to Florida in 4 days, I am so super excited!
Keep a look out for my Florida posts!

* hello Hungary! (pt.2) *

Our next stop was the "Balaton". It's Hungary's biggest lake and we were very excited to explore it some more.

We found this lovely little town, Dorgicse with a lavender field called " Levendarium" , it was absolutely magical.

I will never forget all the wonderful purpleness and the sweet buzzing of hundreds and hundreds of bees.

I totally felt like a princess in a fairy tale.

* hello Hungary! (pt.1) *

Long Distance is very hard.
I miss my family and friend terribly, every single day.
So when I visit them, we try to make the best out of it!

This year I got to spent 5 weeks in Hungary, which was magical.
I love to travel, and I haven't been to a lot of places, but this time we explored Hungary's hidden treasures.

Our first stop: Martonvasar, Brunszvik Castle

 Can you imagine that Beethoven used to play in this castle?
It was truly wonderful.

Check out the beautiful botanical garden too!

You need to visit Hungary!! You will not regret it !

* bookend magic *

I love books. I absolutely LOVE books.
I love how they smell, I love how they feel ...(weirdo) I love that magical world that they create when you read them.
With all that said I have lots of books, I mean a LOT.
Having lots of books on your bookshelf can be a little bit boring so I wanted an easy way to dress it up.
I was looking on Pintreset ( where else?! ) and these were my favorite  ideas :

1. 2. 3. 4.
After all the researching I decided to be CREATIVE and make my own bookends.
You need to know two things about me:
 1.  I am obsessed with maps, airplanes... basically everything with traveling.
 2. I love collecting things ... " Don't throw away that "amazing" tissue box/toilet paper roll/ container, we can use it for something..."

So here is what I came up with :

A-Z, here it is. I hope you liked it, and you'll be creative this weekend!
Don't forget to RECYCLE

* Make someone happy *

Making someone happy is really easy, so why not do it with some homemade little gift cards?
I've recently mailed off some packages for my family and friends in Hungary.
I wanted to make something thoughtful for them, but I needed something flat and small to fit in the packages, so I decided on making unique 3D cards for them.

They are easy to make ( as always) so use your creativity and make someone HAPPY today!

* You can do it *

1.  2.  3.  4.

Valentine's Day is really hard if you are in a long distance relationship. It's important to make your loved one happy. That's what my husband did. He painted me a super cute clothespin, just like the one on my inspiration board. (4.) It was one of the sweetest things he made me during our long distance stage.
So when I started to plan our Hungarian wedding, I looked at that little clothespin, and decided to make our wedding favors just like the one HE made me.

They are cheap and easy to make, and I think they are amazing gifts cause everyone will know that you made each and every one of them.
Here is how I managed to make them by hand for all of the guests for our wedding.
P.S.: If you have an insane amount of guests you might need some help from your friends and family to make them :)

For my wedding I painted the back like a rainbow, and on the sides, I put our names and the date. I think everyone loved them, and I hope I could help you with this little project.
