* wake up call *

I've been experimenting with some healthy breakfast options and I thought i'd share them with you because they turned out amazing!
So my new favorite breakfast is the famous acai bowl.

How I make it?

My main ingredients are acai berries and frozen bananas.
( I get my acai berries from Costco )
- use a blender ( I have a NutriBullet )
Spice it up
- avocado + cocoa powder + dates
- berries + shredded coconut
- chia seeds
- hemp seeds
- almonds
- almond butter
- granola
- cinnamon

These are just a few ingredients I've tried. Do your experiment, get on Pinterest and enjoy!

* drink it up *

You have to make this tea!It tastes amazing and it has great ingredients for your body.

You'll need:
* a lemon
* ginger
* honey
* water

( I usually use a half of a lemon, it depends how much ginger I use but its pretty much half of my thumb, so you don't need a lot.
Make sure you wait for your water to cool down a little before you add your honey and lemon juice. )

*peel your ginger and grade it in a cup/mug/mason jar :)*
/Jamie Oliver has a great video on how to peel ginger on Youtube/

*pour freshly boiled water over it*
wait for it to cool down a bit before you add the lemon juice and honey

Et viola, you made a tea!
Enjoy!

* unique marshmallow sticks *

It's getting really cold here in South Carolina so go ahead and take those marshmallows, graham crackers, pretty blankets out and let's have an awesome campfire with your friends and family.

I love to make a big deal out of everything so I thought I could make a few pretty "marshmallow sticks" for our next campfire-y night.

You'll need:
*sticks
*knife
*paint ( color of your choice )
*glitter
*yarn /twine
*paintbrush

 1. Use your knife. Try to "shave" your stick. ( just like in the old days when we didn't have pencil sharpeners :) )
2. Paint some easy patterns on the bottom half of your stick.

   3. If you want some glitter, do not wait for the paint to dry, go ahead and poor some on it!

4. You can even personalize them, by painting names on them.

5. Don't be shy! Use that glitter! :)

Ta da!!

Turn your phones off and spend some time with your family and friends! Make something special and enjoy some s'mores!

I hope you had/having a lovely week!

* ...Bonjour... *

January is not my favorite month... You have to put away all of your Christmas decorations and the house looks so empty.  I don't like our living room without those pretty lights, without the christmas candles. So I decided that I am going to decorate for Valentine's Day. I am going to ( try to) decorate my house for all the seasons, holidays etc.

Here is how I made my Valentine's Day wreath.
A super easy and cheap way to dress up your door.

I used:
*grapevine wreath
*yarn
( I got these two at Target, and I only spent $6 )
*MOD PODGE glue
*scissors

1. Make little circles with your yarn. Cover it with glue. Don't be shy, dip your fingers in the glue and run it through the yarn. Try to make little heart shapes. It's not so easy so I used clothespins to help me keep the shape. Let it dry.

2. Now you're done with your hearts, we can start making some letters for your wreath. Don't be scared! Shape your letters the way YOU want them, one by one and put the glue on it. While they are drying you can still shape them, so don't get frustrated if the first one won't turn out the way you wanted it.
Be patient and when you're done, let them dry.
( Look at my "B"... :) It's not the most prettiest one for sure, but i wanted it to be simple and easy.)

3. The last step is to put everything on your grapevine wreath.

Here's how mine turned out:

I absolutely loved making this little wreath.
I think playing with yarn would make same really interesting things like:
decorating your presents with some letters, hearts, flowers etc.

Let me know if you can think of anything else to use them for :)

Have a very LOVEly day!
