* chia deliciousness *

Good morning Friends!

I made this amazing chia bread last week and I was super impressed with it.
It's super easy to make and you can eat it for breakfast, you can toast it and
have it as "chips" with your hummus, they are super healthy and yummy.

Have I said super enough? :) So here is the recipe for the Super-Power Chia Bread :
( The original recipe is from The Oh She Glows Cookbook, I made some changes to my taste )

super-power chia bread

3/4 cup gluten-free rolled oats

1/2 cup chia seeds

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 cup flex seeds

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon fine-grain Himalayan salt

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1. Preheat your over to 325 degrees ( 160 degrees), lightly grease a 9-inch square pan
 with coconut oil.

2. Blend your oats in a high speed blender until a fine flour forms.

3. Combine everything in a large bowl.

4. Stir in a cup water until combined.

5. Pour your mixture into the pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
You can sprinkle the surface with some additional salt.

6. Bake it for 25 minutes until firm to the touch.
Let the bread cool for 5 minutes and then transfer it to a cooling sheet for 10 minutes.
Slice it as you like and enjoy your super-power chia bread!

I hope you'll have lovely Thanksgiving with your friends
 and family!

mother nature's apple crumble by ohsheglows

Good morning Friends!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

I have been enjoying this amazing recipe for a while, and I thought it was time to share it with you.

I am obsessed with my Oh She Glows Cookbook, and of course I found this apple crumble recipe in it.

It is amazing as breakfast, snack or dessert, but make sure you heat  it up before you eat it! It tastes so much better when it's warm and it smells wonderful too.

For the filling :

* 6 to 7 cups peeled and chopped apples ( 6 to 7 apples )

* 1/3 cup Sucanat sugar or other granulated sugar ( I used honey! )

 * 1 tablespoon chia seeds

* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

* 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

For the topping :

* 1 cup gluten-free rolled oats

* 1 cup thinly sliced almonds

* 1/3 cup almond flour or almond meal

* 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

* 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

* 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut

* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

* 1/4 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt

1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees ( 190 degrees), grease an 11 by 9-inch baking dish ( use coconut oil).

2. Make the apple filling. Mix the ingredients well. Poor the apple mixture into your  prepared dish.

3. Mix the topping together.

4. Sprinkle the oat mixture all over your apples.

5. Cover the dish with foil and poke a couple of wholes in the foil. Bake it for 35-40 minutes, then uncover the dish and bake it an additional 10-15 minutes.

Enjoy!

This is my favorite treat and I am about to try it with blueberries and pears :)

Have a wonderful week!

Good morning Lovelies!

Happy Friday!

Are you craving something sweet? Me too! :) Do not worry,I have a super easy
( HEALTHY!) snack "recipe" for you today!

All you need is : * 1 banana

                  * coconut oil
                  * cinnamon

Fry your banana slices with the cinnamon on top.

It takes about 3-4 minutes to get the right color.
When they're done you'll get the crispy outside with the gooey sweetness inside.

TIP: Use green bananas if your watching your calorie intake, they have less sugar in them. :)

They are absolutely delicious and so easy to make.

Enjoy them!

Have a wonderful weekend!
